Iowa Poker Information
Although Iowa poker players are unable to play online, there is still a huge amount of action to be found within the state’s live venues. This is highlighted by the World Series of Poker Circuit event at Horseshoe Council Bluffs Casino poker room. Beginner bankroll-builders also have the luxury of the Mid States Poker Tour, which annually visits Tama’s Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel in the fall. The Horseshoe has by far the biggest poker room in the area, with more than 15 tables of action. Mixed games are especially popular in Iowa, with at least one mixed game cash-game table usually to be found at all poker venues.
